A story about Isabel Allende
My english teacher my senior year in high school recommended The House of the Spirits to me and I got around to reading it my freshmen year in college. I loved the book and recommended it to my fiancée, Estella, who loved it as well (she read it in both English and Spanish). She recommended the book to my aunt.
This spring, we got to meet her when she spoke at Texas State University where Estella is getting her MFA in Poetry.
